# isaigonnatakemyjob.com > A sourced register of what artificial intelligence has actually done to work: > 50 layoff announcements in which the employer named AI, 45 > occupations classified by measured decline, and 37 companies AI > disruption killed or is killing. Updated 2026-08-18. Every entry carries a link to primary reporting, an SEC filing, or official statistics. Nothing on the site is our own estimate. Projections are labelled as projections and attributed to the institution that made them. Layoff entries are marked "explicit" when the employer named AI directly and "implied" when reporting inferred it. Entries where the AI-caused-it story is contested keep a note saying so. Summary finding as of August 2026: AI has not taken most jobs. Employers attributed 112,713 of 477,033 US job cuts announced January-July 2026 to AI (Challenger, Gray & Christmas). Employment for 22-25 year-olds in the most AI-exposed occupations is about 19% below where it would be had it tracked less-exposed peers (Stanford Digital Economy Lab). Economy-wide, the Budget Lab at Yale finds no substantial disruption yet. The clearest casualties are businesses whose product was information: 68% of US Google searches now end without a click (SparkToro). ## Canonical files - [Full register, Markdown](https://isaigonnatakemyjob.com/register.md): every occupation, layoff and company with its evidence and source URL.
